Alternatively, for a quiet walking route beside the New River, instead of turning left onto Chase Side, cross Chase Side, continue a short distance across the park to the New River, turn left, and follow the New River to River View, continue for about 200 metres, cross the New River at the Crown and Horseshoes, and again in 20 metres to join Parsonage Gardens. Turn right and continue for about 250 metres to Chase Side Avenue. Turn left then immediately right into Nunn's Road, continue 50 metres to Parsonage Lane, turn left, and the Jubilee Hall is on your right.

On foot from from Gordon Hill rail station:
Turn right as you emerge from the station, into and through the station car park onto the footpath parallel to the rail lines. The footpath leads downhill about 200 metres to Kirkland Drive. Follow Kirkland Drive past several blocks of flats. You are still walking downhill and parallel to the rail lines. You join Holtwhites Hill beside the rail bridge. Turn left, and continue about 350 metres to the crossroads with Chase Side and traffic lights. Parsonage Lane is across the junction, and Jubilee Hall is a few metres along on the left. Total about 750 metres - about the same as from Enfield Chase, but downhill.
